A beautiful sunrise.

Happy 34th Anniversary

Oh yeah, I also wrecked my car in Feb. Dang trailer hitches anyway. $500 deductible later. It got fixed. I don't remember exactly to total bill $12-1400.
Well, it has been six months since last I added to the blog. I am still in RS and life is still grand. I will try to post from activities that have happened since January.

We have had many things happening over time. We spent pretty much every Wed and many Tues and Thurs nights reffing and keeping books for church ball Feb to Apr. It was fun.

I went to SC with Lindsey to visit with Emma.

I have been walking for nearly a year now and finally started losing some weight in Oct, Like a pound or two. I started keeping track on my calendar at 172 lbs. In Dec I purchased two biggest loser DVD's to exercise to. I finally lost about 15 pounds by April, walking 3 miles and working out for and additional 40 min. I was frustrated at working so hard and not feeling like I was losing enough. someone asked if I was doing the 30 day shred and I wasn't. I went and purchased it. It was great. I use it now. It is three fantastic 20 min workouts. I rotate through them and with more carefully watching what I am eating [cause Kevin is dieting too] I have lost another 15 lbs. I feel so good. I have taken in pretty much all of my blouses and skirts. It is awesome.

Emma got to come for a visit. We had a family campout in the back yard. fun times, even if the weather hasn't been the best this spring.

lots and lots of rain and clouds this year. June 23 and we finally got a nice hot day.

Wow it has been months again hasn't it.
I don't have my pictures right now, but thought I would take a minute to post some thoughts

The Lord doesn't always have the same thing in mind for us that we have for ourselves.
And we don't always have the same desire for ourselves as he sometimes does.

Calls for us to serve come in many shapes and sizes. Sometimes we are happy and excited, sometimes we knew what we were going to be asked to do. Sometimes however, before we get a call, we are adiment that we don't want to work where we know we are going to be called and we say things like, "if you are going to call me work in the Primary, don't bother, I will just have to say no." Then they ask you to work in Primary as a teacher for a certain class and you can just feel the spirit flowing through you and you can't wait for your new calling to begin. You have a most excellent journey for multiple years working with those awesome little ones.

Then the time comes for a change. You don't get the call to work where you feel like you were supposed to be called. The call you get you accept, but still don't feel settled with it. You continue to try to make it fit, but still it feels unsettled. Then a new call comes. You think, ok, here comes the call I was supposed to get.
Oh, just jokin, again, not the call you wanted or expected. Counselor in the RS. Really, no prior feelings for this call. You accept, the spirit still isn't flowing.
Frustration sets in. Sadness, Why me, why this call, why now. Not that the call is bad, it just isn't where you felt the tug to be working.
Prayers, temple attendance, fasting, blessings, sickness, death. How mysterious are God's ways.
Presidents must leave town, Lovely old sisters finally get to move on to the next life and what lovely opportunities to serve come your way. The confirmation comes and you are able to be at peace and find joy in your new call.
I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love my Heavenly Father and I am so thankful for his love and patience with me.

Ward Campout/trip to Yakima

Ok, so here are some pictures after all. Just missing the motorcycle pics.

Kevin and Kyle Duda
Alex Temus, Kyle duda, bishop Daybell, Jeff davison balancing on a swinging log Grandma's Lye soap once again

My baby

Guess I don't have pictures of our next adventure, at least of us. We went on our ward campout the end of august. We rode our motorcycle with jeff and jody davison and kurt and stephanie anderson. Ben and Gina hauled our stuff for us. We stayed at Ensign ranch in Cle Elum. It was fun. Saturday we headed over to Yakima to meet a group coming over from Eatonville. They got rained on pretty hard on the way over. glad we came from cle elum, no rain for us:) Can't believe I didn't take a picture in front of Miner burgers as we have been going to go there for five years now. anyway, home over white pass. Still no rain to speak of even though we thought we might get some at one time. We realized it was an awfully long time to be on a bike.
