It's the end of another era. Gazebo no mo. As we were outside doing a little spring cleaning on Saturday, Bobby got a little over anxious and couldn't wait to be dr destructo. He had looked at it earlier and decided we didn't have time for this project, which we didn't. At least not to clean up the aftermath. The next thing I knew, he was knocking out the rotten benches. Then the ballisters started coming off. And as you can see, it never stopped. I was going to go get the Wheelers to watch, but they came out on their own and got to watch the final blow. It is still sitting in the yard. Not sure when the clean up will be.

It has been a couple of weeks ago now, but we celebrated our 33 wedding anniversary Feb 20. We celebrated by spending the day together taking a drive on one of the most beautiful days of this winter. We decided to drive around the "loop" [around the penisula]. We went over the bridge to Gig Harbor. As we got closer to the bridge, we were worried we were going to get rained on, which would've been fun as our top was down. As we crossed the bridge however the clouds disipated and it was again bright and sunny. We headed to Port Angeles with the plan to eat lunch there, but that didn't happen. We couldn't decide where to go. I didn't want fast food that we could get at home. We decided to go on to Forks. It was farther than I thought, so we were pretty hungry by the time we got there. We decided to check out the Vampire city as part of our drive. It was kinda lame, but we still liked the drive. We started a bucketlist and made a list of things we enjoy about being married to each other. I love being married to my best friend. It has been an amazing journey that I hope lasts for many more years to come. Our children add to our happiness. What great people they have turned out to be and what great families they are creating. We love you all. below are some pictures of the Twilight sites. Somehow I missed the hospital and the police station. We had lunch at a burger joint that was there in Forks. We chose not to have a bella burger with fangs. If you want to buy Twilight stuff, Forks is the place to be. It was so cold in parts of our trip and we thought we were going to run out of gas at one point too. We discovered the Quinault Lodge which looks pretty nice while looking for a gas station. We brought blankets with us in case of cold and we ended up using them. It was dark by the time we got home, but the sky was so clear and it was beautiful we couldn't put the top up. All in all it was a very fun day.

I keep forgetting that the pictures upload backwards from the order that you download them. This is my trip to SC to help Emma with the baby. It was a fun trip. The weather was excellent. I quite enjoyed the warmth. It is definately winter there. Alot of brown, but not cold at all while I was there. It was fun to spend some time with them and help Emma get some things done around the house that she was hoping to get done before Colton showed up. We had a baby shower, a visit to Nick's grandma's, a trip to get the car fixed and then to the Zoo. They have some pretty cool animals at their zoo. Unfortunately, my battery died so I missed out on some of them. Then the work began. We rearranged things in the kitchen a bit, and painted the stairwell, hall and office.
It's the man of the hour, Colton
the family.
The only family picture I took the whole time I was there.

I had to bribe here with the jewelry, but of course,
by the time I left we were good buddies.

I can't decide how to spell her sound, but it is so cute.
